About Mr. John Muller
I graduated from Northport High School with an Advanced Regents Diploma. From there I attended Saint Joseph's College for four years. I majored in History and minored in Secondary Education. After graduating, I began my teaching career at Brentwood High School on Long Island, New York in 2011. While educating, I began my masters degree in Special Education. In my time here at Brentwood High School, I've taught Global II, U.S. History, Honors Global II, Honors U.S. History, U.S. History AIS, Participation in Government, Economics, Hispanic Studies, Psychology, Summer School, and Evening High School.
I began teaching AP U.S. History in 2015, which has been a dream come true. As I have taught honors level classes before, AP is the culmination of every teachers' dream. I'm extremely excited to begin this career in educating the AP curriculum. I look forward to this new adventure and intend to give it my all! A few of my most favorite historical characters are Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson & Harry Truman. I envy their power and decisions they've made throughout their careers. I also love their quotes and eras in which they lived in. I have always had a passion for sports. I grew up playing baseball, football, and wrestling. To this day, I'm an avid sports fanatic! I love my NY Giants, Mets, Knicks and Rangers. I coached flag football briefly and currently manage a men's softball team. With my remaining free time, I chase around my two daughters (ages 3 & >1) and garden. If you have any questions concerning the course or any assignments, please feel free to leave your info on the contact page! |
